Fishing on the Dock of the Bay

Now is that a trio of fishermen or what?That was one big fish to reel in.Now is that a trio of fishermen or what. That is Holly's Dad, Chuck, trying to show Stephen and I how to catch fish off a dock in Sarasota.  If there isn't an overgrown muddy creek bank, Stephen and I aren't sure what to do. 

Chuck and Stephen quit fishing and I stayed on.  After a while I snagged this big cat.  I let him run way back out then I called Stephen to reel him in.  I think Stephen was tired after he had reeled him in.

This may be called a lady fish but she sure fights dirty.This was a good fish to keep but it was too small to be legal.Well the ladyfish to the left put up a really good fight.  They do a LOT of jumping out of the water.  They are probably the most exciting fish to catch.   The fish to the right is a good fish to catch and eat but it is too small to be legal.  I have the misfortune of catching the good ones either out of season or too small.  Maybe one day lady luck will be with us.
