Nashville In February

As you can see Stephen did not want that bass to get too close to him.  He didn't mind reeling it in on my little bream rod and reel but he did not want to have to touch it.  That is his little Nashville fishing buddy with us.

Stephen was holding my arm back so I wouldn't get this catfish too close to him.  I let him reel this one in also.  He really enjoyed feeling the tug on the line and having to pull up on the rod.  This cat gave him  a good fight. We were fishing with kernel corn as seen by the can next to my left.  But I turned over a rock and found a salamander.  So I used that salamander to catch this catfish.

As shown by Stephen's fishing buddy we did catch other and smaller fish.  Stephen's fishing buddy insisted that we allow her to throw them back in though.  That is what she is about to do here.

Stephen was busy running off with his tackle box buddy in the mean time. He just has so many buddies.  Actually this is his cousin Elly.  He wasn't all that thrilled about holding her hand but he was willing to do anything as long as he got to pose for a picture.  He is such a camera hog.
