Snow, Snowman and Snow Slides
This is the first shovel of
snow that Stephen has ever shoveled in his life. In the picture to
the right you can see Stephen's play stuff buried under the snow in
the little area just below the house.
Well somebody had to hold the camera so we got two pictures. As you can see we had a fairly good sized snowman. Stephen enjoyed chopping on him over the next several days as he melted. We used sweet gum balls for eyes, acorns for a mouth and of course a carrot for his nose.
To the left is Bob. To the right is Holly screaming as
she slides down a very steep hill on a lid from one of our trash cans.
Notice Stephen at the top of the photo in the background.
Holly decided it was safer to
sit on the side of the hill and take a still picture rather than take an
action photo. Stephen and I had to learn the hard way. Can you
see his mouth open in a scream? That was a real scream. He was
really scared!
This is our back yard covered in snow. Kinda strange seeing the hammock and swing covered in snow. You think of both of them as being summer items.
