Picnic Time In
Stephen's Play Area |
We had to baby sit Laura,
Johnny and Robert all at the same time one day around lunch. I said, "Hey!
Let's bring lunch outside and have less to clean up off the kitchen floor."
What a genuis.

The picnic was fun and
exciting. Especially when Stephen found the really sharp knife in the picnic basket
and wanted to play with it. The little kids in the picture are left to right:
Johnny, Robert, Laura and Stephen with the knife. That is Robert's mom in the
background. |

While everyone sat in the
sun and ate lunch, Holly stood in the shade and oversaw the banquet. And what a
banquet it was. Hot dogs, macoroni and cheese and English peas was the fare for the
day. That is Stephen in the middle of the picture spitting out his hot dog.
Okay he is really looking at a bug. He is always looking at a bug. |

If you
will look real close you can see Stephen looking through a crack. He has an ax
handle that he is using as a coon. He calls this his shoot house and he will get up
in there and shoot out the crack with his ax "gun." He will then slide
down the slide and "go git'em." After the picnic he had to go shoot a few
monster bucks to show his friends how it was done. If you look in the photo above
you will see the deer horns sitting on the stump. Stephen's deer house is to the
right of this picture. He will "shoot" the deer horns then slide down the
slide and "go git'em." |
