Baby Gibbs On The Way!
My youngest sister, Sherry Moore, sent us email on 2/27/99 and asked us to visit her and Doug in September so Stephen could meet his new cousin. I called her the next day and chatted with her. She said that she was due sometime in September. They are planning on finding out the sex of the baby before it is born. As soon as we find out we will put the answer here. Check back often to find out. In September we will have pictures and the story.
10/7/99 - Okay, so I was wrong. The little boy is due sometime between October 18th and the 21st. I am supposed to be in Bentonville, AR on a job during that time so we are planning on Holly going to Atlanta and getting lots of pictures and video footage.
Holly and Stephen visited with David and Martha Gibbs during the week of 3/1/99. Mitchel had to travel to Melrose, MN on business so Holly and Stephen went to the country for some R&R. Stephen now calls his grandfather PeePa. This is acceptable with his grandfather who said that at least he was calling him something.
Mitchel, Holly and Stephen visited with David and Martha Gibbs during the week ending 10/2/99. The main remark was that Stephen had grown so much and now he looked like a little boy. While we were there we also attending the wedding of Amy and Ray. Amy is my former pastor's daughter so it was good to see everyone at the wedding that Holly and I used to go to church with. We also visited with my grandmother while we were there. My sister Cindy has moved from Demopolis back home and is living in a trailer next to my grandmother. So we also got the opportunity to see her and her new place.
Holly Moving Up
Holly is now the vice-president of the Fieldstone Park Homeowner's Association. She is also the new president of the Helena Civitan Club. If anyone is interested in joining the Civitan Club or has any questions please send us an email and Holly will be glad to talk to you. She is also leading a women's bible study at Riverside Baptist church on Thursday mornings. On Monday mornings she goes to a ladies' bible study at Westwood Baptist church. During her free time she works out at the YMCA and raises Stephen.
